It took quite a bit of research before I finally decided to buy Ripe Player. It is obvious that it has more features compared to other players out there, but what I really was looking for was an efficient solution for video advertising. As far as I see it there are three choices:
Use an advertising network plug-in for your player. This basically means that you will have to share the advertising revenue, because the network will take their part as of the advertiser’s money as well.
I found a couple of other players where you could run your own affiliate ads, but the setup was very complicated and I just don’t have the time to look into that and learn how it all works.
Then there is Ripe player. It’s easy to setup and almost everything is configured from a few configuration files where you can change and set values, control bar colors, buttons and the advertising to your own preference.
It wasn’t a difficult choice and everything has worked well so far. Ripe player does its job and so do the staff at Hitasoft. The communication is good and I had them do some custom work on the player, which was done fast and for a decent price.Thanks Hitasoft

I am extremely surprised and genuinely pleased with the HITASOFT FLV player. The price is unbeatable, and the quality of the product is top notch. We have tried a lot of flv players, and there has always been a hassle when it came to us running our own ads, or trying to configure the player to do exactly what we want it to do. I am not the best programmer at all, and with the HITASOFT FLV player, I have been able to customize the player with ease, and I rarely have to refer to documentation.
